The next Reigate Beekeepers
‘Introduction to Beekeeping Course’
commences on January 15th 2022.
SORRY, this years course is FULLY BOOKED.
♦ We will kick off the course with an introductory ‘in-person’ meeting
in our training apiary near Dorking on Saturday 15th January 2022.
♦ Online ‘Zoom’ sessions will then start at 7:30pm on Monday 17th January
and continue each Monday week until 14th March 2022.
The course fee of £175 includes:

Practical training meeting at the apiary
- Introductory session on Saturday 15th January, from10:00am – 12:00 noon
- Nine Theory Sessions on Monday Evenings, 7:30 to 9:30pm via Zoom Conferencing January – March.
- Course Tutor – David Rudland.
- Course Notes provided.
- A copy of the Haynes Beekeeping Manual provided.
- Certificate presented upon completion.
- Four Weekly Practical Training Sessions – in small groups on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm, commencing early April.
- Supervised at all times by qualified and experienced beekeepers.
- Full length Bee Suit loaned for hive inspections.
- A gift of a Jar of our Honey upon your first visit to the apiary.
- The number of attendees is limited to 25 and this course is always oversubscribed; so early booking is advised.
- No prior experience of Beekeeping is required.
- Upon completion of the Practical Sessions you will be able to continue gaining practical experience with us by becoming a Member of the Reigate Beekeepers Division of the Surrey Beekeepers Association
